Our unit was perfect. 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths (the half bath was great for the morning crazies). Every morning the view of sunrise and the Canadian geese landing on the pond outside our unit was worth waking up early! It was quiet and peaceful. Walking over to the marina was convenient and we enjoyed shopping at the gift/wine store just across the parking lot. The variety of boats in their slips provided a nice walk. The only problem was to go to New Bern, we'd have to drive 5 miles to the bridge/flyaway. New Bern provided us with so many new "favorites". Harvey Mansion for dinner. Tryon Palace for touring. Morgan's Tavern for lunch, we spent three days just walking the streets and visiting with shops owners. Everyone is very friendly and they all have their personal ghost story! We did spend a day on Atlantic Beach. Luckily we had bikes and thoroughly enjoyed the town and sunset at the Crab Deck. Another day was spent in Beaufort. Great waterfront town with a lot of history. Perfect "main st."!

This resort is a little step back in time. The condos need a little updating, but are overall pretty nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom plus room and it was pretty nice. Needed a few touch-ups but was ok. We didn't really do alot on this trip but hang around the resort and use the pool. It is very quiet here, so if you're looking for a nice place to relax, this is the place to go.
