“Great Breakfast Place”
Reviewed 1 May 2013

Our party of 4 ate at Sarah's 4 times during our week in Sunset Beach. It was absolutely great each and every time. We had the same server each time and after a couple visits she knew our drinks by heart. The corned beef has was especially delicious as were the grits (we're from the Midwest and don't always find grits on a menu and when we do they're often watery and tasteless). The breakfast burrito, omelets, and country fried chicken were great too! Good thing it's not close to home or we'd have to buy bigger clothes!

“Good breakfast in charming hole-in-the-wall spot”
Reviewed 13 April 2013

We enjoyed breakfast at Sarah's Kitchen this morning because of a review about corned beef hash. My partner ordered it and was pleased with it because it was cooked on the grill, not just microwaved. He got homestyle potatoes with his dish, which was a mixture of potatoes, onions and garlic and very tasty. I ordered a vegetarian omelet with a biscuit. The omelet was scrumptious and moist with plenty of cheese and veggies. Being a Southern girl for a long time, I'm pretty discerning about biscuits and it didn't measure up to a good Southern style but it was okay.

The place is really small and bustling at 8:30a.m. on a Saturday morning. The tables are very close but it feels like a small diner where everyone is your neighbor. They also have outside tables that looked inviting but it was a little chilly in the shade at that hour.

Our waitresses (several stepped in as they saw we needed something) were cheery and friendly. The only downside was our waitress forgot part of our order but she promptly fetched it without an issue.

We're planning to go back tomorrow and try something else. Will you be there?

“delightful breakfasts”

We eat breakfast at Sarah's every time we are in the area. The service and food are always spot-on. Prices are reasonable, it is comfortable and one always feels welcome.

“Breakfast at Sunset”
Reviewed 3 February 2013

There is no shortage of breakfast venues in this areas of Brunswick County. All of them are pretty good for your normal fare. However, I was happy to find some corned beef hash at Sarah's. The menu does have more than the norm when it comes to pancakes, waffles, etc. I will be going back on future trips. I was a regular at OIB pier until they scratched corned beef from their menu. Oh yeah, service at Sarah's is also a reason to go back:)

“Great Value”

Tiny but great value in food for breakfast. I have not been there for lunch... Go about once per month with a few neighbors... Tables small and space limited.
