Dajio is a nice restaurant in Ocracoke Village that is hard to pass up. Something just beckons you to the place, and you can tell it's even popular amongst locals (or that was my impression, anyway).
We stopped by Dajio twice: once to check out a band called The Yes Team that was playing there, and the following night for some food and spirits. That night, we ordered fried calamari and hot wings. Both were good dishes, but the reason we were there was for the flatbread pizza, and we were disappointed to hear that they had "run out" and stopped serving it about a half hour before our arrival. Oh well. Next time!
