The Cove turned out to be a perfect place to stay for our 3 day/2 night stay on Ocracoke. Our original plan was for a regular room. A last minute change of plans required us to take our 15 yr old daughter and fortunately, the first floor Plover suite was available. She ended up sleeping on the couch and everyone was comfortable and happy. The Cove is a very well run B&B. John & Sharon do a nice job making their guests feel at ease. The atmosphere at the Cove, like everything else in Ocracoke, is extremely friendly and laid back. It was a perfect match for what we were looking for. The extra perks (bikes, beach chairs, afternoon wine and munchies, and of course the delicious home made breakfasts) made for a hassle free stay and made us feel like we were in our own home. Having cold bottled water available 24/7 was also a huge plus. The Cove is definitely not the place for families with small children, but it is perfect for couples young and old!
