Description: Elliotts On Linden is a fine yet casual dining restaurant with a gourmet, farm to table philosophy. Perfect for romantic evenings, special occasions, and business meetings, Elliotts provides a relaxing yet elegant atmosphere. The casual side of Elliotts, The Roost, offers a full bar and dining menu. We're a favorite among the locals. Come check us out.

The dinner we had was excellent, with regard to taste, portions, and the service of our waitress. The appertizer was very tasteful, the main course was excelllent and very plentiful, and the dessert was outstanding!!! I should also say that the Manhattans had an excellent flavor also ... and were of a great size.

We have been eating at Elliott's for the past 6 years, whenever we are in town (usually 5-6 times/year when golfing). It is with great sadness that we have decided to take a break from what was one of our favorite restaurants.

The menu and food remain top notch however the level of service has so deteriorated, it severely affects the overall dining experience. Its quite obvious little or no training is given. On our most recent visit, a server "in training" was following our server. Our server was rather loud, called us "you guys" and was unable to give us much info about the preparation of food or proper wine selection. This is what a new peson would learn. When our biscuits were delivered, we had to ask for silverware. We waited 15 minutes to receive our beverages, another 20 minutes for appetizers and another 30 minutes (after appetizer) for entrees. We needed to ask for more water and only once did our server ask how things were - about 15 minutes into our entree. Interestingly enough, more attention was paid to whether we wanted another bottle of wine. Our overall dinner lasted almost 2 hrs. 15 minutes and the dining room was not overly crowded.

Servers are friendly but for what we consider fine dining with reflecting prices, Elliott's needs to provide a little more polish. When this first started to happen, we thought it was just us. But during our last 2 experiences, we overheard others discussing the same issues.

We walked in and were offered to eat in the bar or resturant side. We choose the bar side. The bLT was huge and came with Macaronni salad that was made with honey and peaches. Delicious. We had a small order of double cooked fries-delicious. My wife had the chicken tai wrap and she said it was awesome. My only advice is to go hungry as they did not skimp on the food

We thought the new area called the Roost was the "bar / casual" restaurant which was separated from the main dining / upscale dining at Elliotts. Since we like a laid back type of food fare, we made our reservation in the "Roost" and we were seated there. The only menu offered to us was the upscale dining menu, not a "tavern" type menu, although there is a Roost Menu published on the website. So we ate the food from the fancy side, it was delicious, but $100 for two people which was more that what we expected to pay because there was no alternative.

Hi Debbie, so sorry our new menu was not yet live. Here's a link - just tab over to "The Roost" to see the new lighter fare. Come in and have a burger on me!

1 mile from our house, Elliott's is always a good bet for good food lunch and dinner. Recently they have opened a bar attached to the restaurant called the "roost". We have eaten there once and thought it was great. Very attractive bar. Many choices on wine by the glass with that new type of wine bar. The Bar keep is very good with the cocktails too. Good choice. If you want to save your wallet, ask for the bar menu.
