“Delightful and good”
Reviewed 26 September 2013

Went to Irregardless on recommendation of my brother-in-law. He had heard it was a great veggie place. Turns out it was not vegetarian at all but one could do just fine there, if they were vegetarian.
Food was delicious. I had a salad for lunch that was huge.
Only issue was there was a large party there for lunch and the noise from their group was quite distracting. We asked to be moved so we were not in direct line of their vocal joy. That helped some.
Service was just fine. My sis really enjoyed her salad as well. Prices were definitely reasonable.
We would go again and recommend it to all.

“Still a good place”
Reviewed 16 September 2013

We had not been here in over 20 years but went with another couple and had a very good meal and experience. The building and decorations are unique. We arrived about 5:30 on a Friday so had no problems getting a table. Reservations may be needed if you arrive much later.
Our server Allison provided timely and very good service.
We started with the fried calamari which was seasoned and fried just right. No toughness at all. I had the vegeterian Sheperd's Pie which was tasty but a little dry. It was served with aspargus which were super...cooked just the right amount. The other entrees ordered were the chicken kabobs, eggplant moussaka, and chile relleno. Everyone was very satisfied with their order. The relleno may not be quiet the Mexican dish but was very good.
A string trio started playing about 6:45 but was good background. Otherwise the noise level was low or a little more. There is music every night.
We certainly plan to go back before another 20 years and take friends and family.

“It as it all, regardless!”
Reviewed 7 September 2013

For those in need of vegetarian & Gluten free dishes that are really unique & delicious, but with plenty of choices for everyone else, visit The Irregardless Cafe when you are in Raleigh. Good vibe & attentive service made the evening relaxing. We even enjoyed a jazz duo on a Friday night. We'll definitely return!

“A Special Get Away In Raleigh”
Reviewed 1 September 2013 via mobile

Don't be put off by the name of this restaurant. It is delightful. My wife and I took a night out with another couple. We booked on-line for a table. By the time we arrived we had changed our minds and decided we would prefer a booth. Our request was accommodated with only a brief delay. Live music turned out to be a good guitar player with an equally good piano player/singer. It was perfect background for the wonderful dinner: vegetable ravioli for my better half and I had bass on mashed potatos with corn and spinach. The service was great. A gentleman, possibly an owner, dropped by the table for an enjoyable conversation. It was a great evening. We plan on returning.
