I have stayed at this place on multiple occasions and is my preferred hotel when visiting Raleigh. The rooms have been clean, wifi is good, breakfast is decent and check out clerk has been friendly. I ran into awkward situations with the cleaning staff where in they barged into the room to clean and did not speak English. Apart from that my stay has always been pleasant.

We drove into town from VA with our dog and booked a hotel up the street but were asked to leave as the hotel was not pet friendly. Found this hotel near by and were able to get a room in the middle of the night. Clean and good breakfast. Staff was very helpful.

We checked in late to this hotel and stayed solely as a sleepover spot before we continued our travel. The night clerk was very friendly and the room was very clean with the basic amenities (fridge, wi-fi, microwave). Our biggest complaint is that we could smell cigarette smoke in our room the whole night as the rooms down at the end of the hall allowed smoking ,which we found out upon check-out. I would recommend this hotel, as we felt it offered value for money, but you must be willing to tolerate the smell of smoke or be guaranteed a room nowhere near the smoking rooms.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for your business with us. We really like to listen to what our guests want from us. Per your suggestion we have made an operating decision to slowly reduce the amount of smoking rooms we have at our hotel. We are in the process of eliminating the amount of smoking rooms we offer.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Very clean for such an economical hotel. Furniture and fixings look new. Less than 15 min from downtown, and next to a mall. A microwave and a fridge a big plus. The only issue is that windows don't open and rooms could smell stale. It was better after I opened the door and aired it out from the hallway for awhile.

Hotel was reasonable. The hotel was clean. The location was hard to find. Very convienient located near the Crab Tree mall. Breakfast is basic.
The ventilation in the room was inadequate. Beds were good. Personel was friendly.
Conclusion: value for money. Ventilation needs attention..

My wife and I stayed here the night of the DMB concert. Best bang for your buck clean room, didn't smell like smoke at all. updated bathroom, good sized mini fridge. Nice and close to I-440, Crabtree mall one block over, RBC center very close and Walnut Creek was only like 15 min with some 5 o'clock traffic. Will stay here again.

In a great location- near the beltline (literally feet), across from a major mall and walking distance from a running trail. The lobby and room were clean.
No elevator but the room was up one flight.
Soap and shampoo were in dispensers so there were plenty of both.
No frills but a quiet good night of sleep.
