If location is what you are looking for this Holiday Inn is the place.Staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.

Restaurant food and service is good at this top floor round location. Being on the 20th floor getting there at check out time might be await.

Room design is awkward because the bathrooms are too small. If the sink area could have been made a foot smaller, you could open and close the bathroom door without feeling like you need to step in the tub to do it. Room amenities other that the bathroom are fine.

Do not be put off by vacant lot adjacent to the hotel- an eyesore perhaps. But, you are close to Capitol, all the museums - easy walking distance.

Room Tip: Not sure since all rooms seem to have the same bathroom design

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for endorsing the location of our hotel. We are close proximity to State Government offices and area attractions. A friendly and courteous staff is expected but a prime location is an added perk.

Regards,

Orlando

Front desk staff really helpful amd supurb. Really engaged and genuine with their guests.

Key entry for operation of elevator adds an extra layer of safety and security.

New remodel has given this historic landmark hotel a new and fresh heartbeat.

Kudos to Holiday Inn in polishing this gem.

I don't stay in a lot of Holiday Inn's, but based on my stay in Raleigh I may need to rethink that. The hotel property itself is average. About what you would expect, clean, comfortable, good location. But the staff takes them to the next level. Lee, Derrick and Sha'Michael were all exceptional! An unexpected treat for this guy who spends over 100 nights a year in hotels. Kudos to them and the manager that put the team together.

We arrived late and were greeted warmly by the whole staff. It was a comfort to go to our room and get relaxed. The hotel was in a perfect location for our needs and very accommodating. We felt very much at home.

we got a room on the 18th floor of this 20 floor Hotel. and the Top floor is the Restaurant. you can see for miles from the room or the restaurant. good breakfast buffet up there as well.
rooms are regular rooms. parking is on the first-third floors.
only down side is there are only 2 elevators. so around checkout time, its hard to get one that is empty, and they are slow.
plenty of Cafe's, bars around and close to downtown for any sightseeing or business needs.

Room Tip: ask for a room on a higher floor, but note you will have to wait for elevator more, but views are go...

Holiday Inn has purchased the Crown Hotel on Hillsborough and is refurbishing the top floor. We had a good stay except for a noisy air conditioner. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean. Parking was adequate. Grounds are still a bit grim.

Room Tip: Don't stay on the south side in summer.
