Found this place after a recommendation on the net attached to a walking route that went through Pangbourne, and we obviously weren't the only ones doing this, quite a few obvious walkers (muddy boots) and cyclists in. Despite their website saying they are open Mon-Sat, I was there on a Sunday and the place was pretty busy so maybe they have gone to 7 days a week.
Very friendly service, great cup of tea (strong and served in a teapot none of that teabag in a mug stuff), they do a huge range of sandwiches/baguettes/ciabattas with every filling you can imagine (made up on the spot) , plus I think cooked breakfasts (we were there at lunch so didnt see that but its advertised) plus a wide variety of cakes all of which I understand are home baked. Only downside is, the calories you burned off on your exercise, may get added back on rapidly !
Prices very reasonable, can't recall exactly what they were but I suppose that proves the point, definitely will visit again. Will have to choose a longer walking route though.
