Reviewed 9 November 2011

When traveling from Maryland to Georgia my wife and I decided to break the trip up into two days. We came across the Brookwood Motel in N. Carolina and decided to give it a try. The first favorable impression came when the owner offered to show us the room prior to signing in. This is a rare occurrence today. The room was on the small side and somewhat dated. That being said it was spotless, well maintained and cozy. The bed was very comfortable, the WI-FI and TV worked and the water was hot. All and all it was perfect for a one night stay. At thirty dollars it was hard to beat for an overnight oasis.

Room Tip: The hotel has all first floor rooms and is laid out like a big horseshoe. try to get a room in the corner to minimize traffic noise.
