This is housed in an old restored school and highlights local crafts. They also offer classes in various crafts and host concerts in the renovated school auditorium.

“If you get a chance GO!”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

If you enjoy local culture and beautiful hand made items at a reasonable price, you don't want to miss this gem in Graham County. Housed in a old school facility, classes, an art gallery, farmer's market, and concert series are available at a reasonable price for all to enjoy. The emphasis is upon Appalachian Arts and Culture. Nearby you will find Fontana Village and Cherokee, NC. I have purchased several items there in the past and love the hand weaved items available. The staff is friendly. There is a beautiful walking trail and wi-fi available. Enjoy.

“Unbelievable small town gem.”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

Quality of the arts center and concert series Series features bluegrass talent that usually command fees too high for a small cultural center like this. Local people welcome you and are happy to share their facility.

“What a nice surprise!”
Reviewed 12 July 2014 via mobile

We stopped here to gather info about the area and were pleasantly surprised at what we found. An old schoolhouse had been converted onto a cultural and info center. Picnic tables on the grounds beckoned us to have a picnic which we did under a big tree. The artisans works were well displayed and beautiful. There were offerings of concerts, classes and a helpful, pleasant staff. A trip to the restroom requires a walk through the old auditorium with wooden chairs. Awwwww memory lane...

“"Preserving Mountain Tradition for Generations..."”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

Housed in an old school house in the NC mountain is a wonderful artisans gallery. Showcasing many local artisans including painting, pottery, weaving, glass works, wood-turning, photography to name a some of the areas this gallery displays. They also offer summer concerts featuring blue-grass, folk and old-time mountain music in a wonderful preserved auditorium. Classes are offered as well as festivals and special events.
