We saw the signs for this restaurant but, once in the area, we could not find the actual restaurant. The signage was terrible. We almost gave up when we finally saw a sign.

Once inside, the food was very good indeed. Mark had fish flounder, and I had shrimp. Lovely, tasty and nice light batter. There was a really nice girl serving.

It's worth hunting it out - hope they add more signage..!! Nice view from the deck too. Helpful hint...... it's upstairs above the shops around the back.

Ate lunch and dinner here. The food was good and we had great service. Tried a couple different drinks at the recommendation of the bar tender / server and was not disappointed. Spectacular sunset views can be seen from here.

We were just there for a bowl of seafood chowder, which was delicious. Nice place & I expect we will go back the next time we are in Rodanthe. Very clean - nice view. Dog friendly balcony.

My husband & I enjoyed Good Winds Seafood & Wine bar near Waves/Salvo, North Carolina. Their house wines were excellent. We ordered the scallop alfredo & shrimp pesto with salads. Both were excellent. My food allergies were respected by the kitchen. Service was great.

We had high hopes as we walked in and were seated right away by the window with a beautiful view of the sound sunset. Then it all went downhill from there as we waited forever for someone to greet us and take our drink order.
We order drinks, hushpuppies and chicken tenders for our daughter. My husband was looking forward to the steamed shirmp but they were all out at 6pm. We opted for fried seafood. The fried flounder I had was pretty good, the popcorn shirmp was obviously frozen. My daughter's chicken tenders looked like mystery meat, frozen chicken I was somewhat hoping for fresh chicken tenders. My husband got the fisherman's platter, fried Mahi, fried oysters, fried shrimp and fries. He said it all tasted the same but didn't expect much from a fried platter.
Hushpuppies, we were hoping for fresh delicious hushpuppies but we got what seemed like frozen ones with corn inside. The coleslaw seemed like it was weeks old and had started turning a pink color, my husband took a bite and spit it right out immediately. Overall we will not return for food but maybe a beer and a beautiful sunset. Really is a shame to waste a beautiful sunset spot on such a undeserving resturant.
