Avoid this place like the plague. And, if you happen to be some sort of infectious disease expert that actively seeks out things like the plague, you should still stay far away from this cesspool of depravity.
When I checked into this hotel, the unfriendly front desk woman told me that I needed to pay cash for the room, in spite of the fact that I had prepaid for everything on Agoda. I showed her my receipt and booking confirmation, but she just kept insisting I pay her. Normally, I would just leave and find a new place to stay then dispute the credit card bill later, but it was late at night and I didn't feel like wandering the streets of Changsha, so I relented and planned to call my credit card company when I returned home. Also, the staff doesn't speak a word of English, so you'd better be prepared to deal with their nonsense in Mandarin. Better yet if you can speak the local dialect, Changsha-hua.
My room was filthy. There was a large puddle on the carpet, blood stains on the sheets, and the room stunk of despair and desperation (at least, that's the closest way I can describe the horrific smell). When I first opened the door, I stepped onto a pile of about 30 business cards advertising escort girls.
Aside from being in a good location, there is absolutely nothing else redeeming about this place.
