“Greek island hotel with a twist”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

We agree with all good things people say about the hotel. The family who run the hotel is very professional and lovely. It is on the higher end of the spectrum so the price is well justified. Location is quite scenic. When driving there for the first time we were scared that we had gotten into an internet scam :). But after you drive a couple of dusty and funny roads, you get to a solid construction that you cannot believe it is in the place it is. We found Milos to be a great Island. It has a lot of personality. If you have experience traveling in the greek islands you will find this hotel offers a somehow different experience. The twist is that they have an in-house restaurant and dinner is included (at least in the plan we got). The food is great, in greek standards, which are high. They have traditional greek food, fresh fish, etc. It is not a buffet for low-quality/tourist-type/all-inclusive travelers. It is a normal restaurant where you have a menu with some special dishes every day. It is at least as good as the good restaurants in the Island (we stayed four nights in another hotel and got to try the local cuisine). Since the place is a little bit far away from everything, it ends up being very convenient to eat there and since the quality is so good, there is no loss. They have enough variety so you don't get tired. I particularly loved this arrangement because I simply dropped the dinner question from our everyday things to think about/do something about/make reservations/find reviews..., which I always manage to screw up somehow.

Excellent stay. The hotel is in the south of the island near the nice beaches. This is managed by a warmful family. They came to pick us at the port and drive us back after our vacation and manage our quad rental, so we can visit around during our trip.
Excellent boat tour recommandation, every day they tell you what is the best beach to go depending on the weather.

The food was just amazing, for a really good pricze at the end we ate there almost every night. They grow they own vegetables, do their own marmelade... It was excellent. We had the chance to be there one evening when a singer and music was playing and we all learn traditional dances. This was a really great experience.

You absolutely need to car/scooter/quad to visit the island from there.

We just checked out after a wonderful week there with the whole lovely family's who runs the hotel. I was almost crying, I didn't want to leave. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful with lots of cozy touches. The views are fantastic. The only downside is you really need a car due to the location. But the secluded location is also a plus. We ate all of our dinners there since we didn't feel like driving after dark. But it was so nice to do that at the end of a busy day. The food was delicious and well-priced.

Can't wait to return some day soon!

This is a family run operation, and they could not have done more to make us feel at home. Taking us to the beach, or to the town, and helping us to decide where to go and what to see. All the food was local and very authentic and delicious. Breakfast, with the stunning view of the Aegean Sea, was fresh and plentiful. Dinner, with that same view, was also delicious, freshly caught seafood, family recipe moussaka, pork roasted on an enormous spit, were just three of the specials available during our stay, however, if you are lucky enough to be there for dinner on a Tuesday, you will be treated to Greek music and dancing. Marina and her husband dance, and you will be encouraged to learn the Zorba dance with every one else. We were three generations on this holiday. Grandmother, daughter, and two grand daughters. We all had such a wonderful experience and felt that we saw a glimpse of the real Greece. Thank you Dimitra and Nikos and all of you. We will be back!

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice. We were four and fit nicely into one with a bedroom and sofa bed and trund...

This place is definetly my favorite hotel. The food was amazing and the staff are also GREAT. We always felt like we were part of the family. One night there was dancing, and the view is beautiful. I loved it SO MUCH.

You're looking for a place to rest and be off the croweded touristic spots. You're looking for an hotel with nice scenery and the sea in front of you, as far as you can see. You're looking for a special place where you can feel like being at home, welcome like a friend and dont have to worry except on what beaches are you going to explore today ? Then you're all set for a stay in Pasaravolda. First of all the site is majestic. On a hill in front of the sea with the blue as main color. Recent houses built in Greek style, white and blue with nice terrass, super beds and small fridge/ cooking spot if needed. A lot of stones, huge amount to pave and maintain the natural hill. and lot of flowers and arbust. You feel Zen here ? normal !
Dimitra and the whole family are here to make your stay memorable. Picking you up at airport or fery, organizing your car rental, calling for your visit or boat tours. So kind and so precious. The breakfast is good with home made jams and olive and the dinner is even better with every day different dishes, fresh fish capture down the cliff and grilled. Marina and Fotini have you as special guest for those meal and enjoy kids, making you feel at home. Dimitra and her husband have transformed this hill into a wonderfull resting place. You get resourced here .We had fantastic time overthere. A come back is mandatory !

We stayed at Psaravolada for 4 days during our honeymoon this july (2014). The hotel was beautiful near some nice beaches (not to mention the Psaravolada beach which was very quiet and we could enjoy almost for ourselves). Dimitra and her family (they run the hotel) are wonderful people, they make the diference from nice holydays to wonderful holydays by making you feel so welcome and so well taken care of. Just loved our days at Psaravolada and meeting Dimitra and her family. Oh, and the breakfasts are delicious too!!! We recomend it 1000%!!

Room Tip: We stayed at Nemesis room. It's perfect for couples. The balcony has an amazing view of the sea
