A fabulous place for an afternoon tea / coffee stop after exploring the rocks at Croyde. Latte was delicious as was the caramel shortbread :)

“A gem of a find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 March 2014

Have walked to Baggy Point many times but this was our first visit to the Sandleigh Tea Rooms. A delightful little place with a large walled garden which is quite a sun trap on the right day. The attention to detail and the quality of the food made it for us. Little things like the freshness of the side salad accompanied by proper salad dressing. I understood the salads and some of the veg come from some of the allotment plots in the garden. It is privately run under an NT tenancy.

“Excellent food, excellent location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2014

Set in a perfect location in a walled garden on Croyde Bay and at the start of the path to Baggy Point, Sandleigh Tea Rooms is a great place for a coffee, a cream tea or their excellent home made food - and it's always good to check out the crop in the allotment plots within the walled garden which are rented out to locals.

“Lovely location and Good Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2014

This is an NT run cafe and gift shop just off the beach at Baggy Point. The food was excellent and the surroundings very well kept though rather small. Expensive but nice for a treat and good to support the NT as we are members!
