Description: The Manor House Inn sits in the pretty village of Croyde with glorious sandy beaches and delightful countryside. The original pub in Croyde is a 16th century former coaching inn, where the old coach house still stands. There is a large restaurant & conservatory overlooking the courtyard and large children's play area. The bar is spacious and in character with the building, where there is a wide range of local ales, ciders and beers along with an extensive wine list. A freshly prepared, locally sourced menu & specials board is available every day, from local fish, meats & vegetables to simple sandwiches. There is also a comprehensive children's menu. We show all major sporting events via Sky &BT Sport on our large screens as well as regular live music, pool table, darts and skittles. You can be sure of a warm welcome at The Manor House Inn - just as it should be!!!

We had a family get together, 8 adults & 1 under 10. Having pre booked a table, the service was very good even though the bar & restaurant were packed with weekend holiday makers. The menu had a good upmarket and well balanced selection, which appeared to be reflected in the slightly above average price. When the food was served, it certainly justified the cost; in portion size, and definitely in quality - the salmon tagliatelle my wife ordered was one of the best we have eaten. The whole family were in agreement about the excellent food & service.

Ate here on one night during our stay wish we had visited again as the food was extremely good. You need to make a reservation as it gets very busy in the summer took us a while to get a table. My husband had Lamb Shank , mum had seafood risotto , my son had the ribs and I had the steak. Could not fault anything here. A must visit.

My son (14yrs) we're recommend this pub, and we're not disappointed.
The first night there we looked at the menu, which is quiet extensive, and decided to share their ribs.
Well this massive plate of ribs(12), chips and coleslaw came out with a to die for barbecue sauce.
Getting 2 extra plates and napkins was no problem as the staff were so helpful.
We decided we would return for our last days evening meal, so we booked a table for six, arrived early and asked if we could sit in the bar area instead, so my son could watch tennis on their tv. No problem, unfortunately Andy Murray lost that night.
Again we decided on the ribs, well it did not think they could have improved on the other night. They did, the plate was brimming with food, and the waitress remembered us, and gave us a warm welcome , and without even asking their was 2extra plates, finger bowl and extra napkins, strongly recommended.
The bar staff were great, recommending various ciders, which I had to try.
Great couple of nights out, highly recommend a visit.

An enjoyable evening meal - quantity of meats could have been more generous! Selection of fresh vegetables was excellent! Great play area outside which is a bonus for children!

It was a carvery and it was on a Wednesday - little more to say really.
Food hot tasty & plentiful, real ale available, easy walk from our B&B.
Busy, but then again it was early evening in the school holidays in a popular pub on carvery night, so to be expected.
