“The best B&B ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2013

Just returned from our second stay at B&B at No. 10, which is a few minutes walk from both Croyde village and also the beach.
Jane is an excellent and friendly hostess, managing to make us all feel 'at home' the minute we walked through the door.
The decor is contemporary and practical, with lots of storage space in the bedrooms. The beds are really comfortable, with lovely crisp white sheets.
The bathroom is spotless, with a great shower.
Breakfasts are very well cooked - I agree with the previous comment about the scrambled eggs which were superb!
We were 'lucky with the weather' so spent time in the garden, which is quiet and secluded and there's also space to rinse and dry surf gear.
We also made good use of the lounge which is comfortable, light and airy.
We would thoroughly recommend the B&B at No 10 and plan to return again as soon as we can.

A very comfortable stay with lovely bedroom and bathroom facilities in beach-style decor. We were lucky enough to have the living room to ourselves and could enjoy the vast range of dvds on offer on the huge flat screen tv. Breakfast was delicious, Jane cooks a great scrambled egg! Great location close to the beach and the village centre. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome and had the sitting room and bathroom all to ourselves. Fresh decor, spotlessly clean rooms and a filling breakfast have changed my mind about B&B accommodation. We'll be back.

Room Tip: Guests have a private lounge so you don't have to lurk around until the evening to return to you...

Stayed there for three nights recently. Nice rooms, good breakfast, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. B&Bs can sometimes feel like you're imposing on someone's house, but this one has a really nice atmosphere, and it felt very much like a 'home away from home'.

Myself and a friend stayed for a couple of nights at No. 10. Whilst the property looks small from the road it opens out into an very modern ikea esque interior which is spotlessly clean. As we were the only guests it felt more like a house holiday let, as we had full roam of the lounge and communal areas. Our room didn't have an en-suite, but as the only guests this really wasn't an issue. Breakfast was tasty, only thing missing was honey for the muesli. My only criticism would be that I was cold at night and would have liked the heating to go on, however, I'm aware this is personal preference, my companion was happy with the temperature. Close to the village and the thatch and close to the beach. Great location and a pleasant stay

We spent a long week-end in the charming and cozy summer house at No 10. The owner was extremely efficient and friendly throughout the booking process and made us feel very welcome.

Little touches and thoughful preparation have made our stay extraordinarily nice and romantic.
We had our first try at surfing, the village and the beach is a short and very scenic walk away.

I can definitely raccomend it; 5 stars service and excellent breakfast!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay on Sandy Way in Croyde. We stayed for a few nights and found it to be a great location (5 minutes to the beach and 2 into town), a lovely clean room and a very good breakfast before a days few hours of surfing. Jane really is a born host going the extra mile helping up out with any local info and even drying our wet clothes after an afternoon on the amazing waves. We have loved every minute of our stay and would recommend Sandy Way to anyone!!! Peta & Chris x
