We stayed here for one night. The welcome was simple and warm. After we were shown to our homely room we were invited to afternoon drinks, which included a choice of beer or wine with a cheese platter.
Our hosts knew when to engage us and when not to and were very helpful at afternoon drinks as to where to eat out for dinner, even though we'd already booked a restaurant.
Since it's only a three bed B&B, we were able to chat with other guest, which was a pleasure.
The room was spotless and very homely. There was plenty of room with a view over the bay, which is breathtaking.
Breakfast was brilliant, we had fruit, poached eggs on toast with bacon. I even had crepes with rhubarb. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer.

Thank you for taking the time to review Snug Cove Bed and Breakfast
It is always nice to know our guests have enjoyed staying with us.
Having the Twofold Bay Yacht Club Regatta happening while you were here was a bonus.
All those pretty sails on the water certainly added to the view.

We arrived quite late and were made to feel welcome with a quick tour of everything, cheese + biscuits and wine!

Room was really comfortable and had a homely feel. Bathroom had a huge bath and shower.
The room was full of lots and bits and pieces you font get from large chain hotels. Ie shave cream, candles, sun cream, little chocolates, torch for late night walks etc really thoughtful.

The balcony had an AMAZING view of the harbor by day or night it was so pretty.

Breakfast was great, down on the big balcony below our room, with the same excellent view.
Fresh fruit to start - cereals - then a delicious cooked breakfast or pancakes (other options too) then toast with homemade jams, Coffee tea and juices - really set us up for the day.

In the main room downstairs there were always some homemade cakes and biscuits to help ourselves to. Hosts were great very considerate and even dried some of our clothes in their dryer on the day we had to leave.

100 would recommend staying here. Would happily stay again.

I might have been blessed with perfect weather but this spot is stunning. A deck overlooking the most charming bay view and inside your room the view continues. The hosts Jen and Eric have all the little things covered and then some ... And serve up a delicious breakfast either on the deck in the morning sun or in the dining room overlooking the same amazing bay view ... If I'm back through Eden I'll definitely call in to Snug Cove again. A lovely part of the world.

This is loveliest B&B that you will ever stay in. We tried to convince Jennifer & Eric to adopt us but we weren't convincing enough! Absolutely gorgeous location. Eden is beautiful and the B&B is a gorgeous big house. Each room has it's own theme and the Crocodile room was our favourite! The common area feels like you're at home, all the coffee, various teas, fruit, little cakes and biscuits you can eat, plus don't forget about the goumet breakfast that is made to order and nothing is too difficult for these wonderful hosts. It was my hubby's b'day and they even bought out a banner and balloons plus a candle. They are fantastic and we loved it. Rooms are spotless, everything you can imagine and need is stocked in the bathroom. Beds are soooo comfy, i'm telling you, we didn't want to leave.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are amazing and have the best views.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we appreciate you taking the time. Had a real run of birthdays at the end of October beginning of November, the birthday banner got plenty of airing.

We stayed for only one night in this B&B. Got a really good reception, loved the room, with the funny decor and the balcony with a view.

We enjoyed the afternoon drink of a nice glass of wine where you meet other guests and get a chance to talk to the hosts. The hosts Eric & Jen are very knowledgeable about the area and have loads of information about what to see, where to eat, what to do.

Because of other guests who recommended Cat Balou's Whale watching we changed our plans and went whale watching the next day. Very convenient only 5 min. walk to the quay. We had the best ever whale watching cruise, saw 7 whales, including mothers with babies who did jumps, flips, tail wagging, absolutely fantastic. We also saw loads of dolphins playing around the boat, but everybody was so fascinated by the whales, nobody paid any heed.

Breakfast at the B&B was fantastic, a great breakfast menue, cooked to order with very high quality, a day could not start better.

This is why we prefer B&Bs to motels or hotels most times.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us but more importantly, that you had the experience of seeing the whales and dophins up close. We are so fortunate here in Eden to have such easy access to these fantastic sea mamals each year. Thank you for taking the time to review your experience. Eden is a very beautiful place and we enjoy sharing it with our guests.
Happy travels.

The Snug Cove B&B is a purpose built Bed and Breakfast that has really been thought through. The ground level is lunge room, dining room and extensive deck. All bedrooms are on the level above.

Our room was very well furnished and exceptionally clean. It was very hard to fault this property at all. The room had a vaulted ceiling which gives a great sense of space in the room. The bed was great. The bathroom was big, well fitted and very good.

The hosts are the real character of this property. They have a great sense of service without imposing on you in anyway - friendly, knowledgeable, but leave yo to enjoy the peace.

Stopped at the Snug Cove after a quick survey of what was on offer motel wise on Trip Advisor. Very glad we did as we ended up with excellent accommodation for similar price once the excellent breakfast was taken into account. On top of that you get a host who has a passion for and knowledge of the area that he is keen to pass on to his guests. The welcoming drink is a nice touch. Room was of ample size, clean and a little quirky which was a pleasant change from some of the "white bread " motels we had been staying at.
Location is excellent as Snug Cove looks out over the harbour and is also close to the Main Street. You need to be aware that it is a bit of a haul up stairs to your room with luggage and also fairly steep to walk to the Main Street for dinner, but Eden after all is a hilly town.
Don't think twice this is a great place to stay.
