Excellent motel, very spacious rooms and very clean. Friendly welcome and good service. Breakfast great value and well prepared. Location is very central to town and to other attractions, especially if you don't mind walking up and down hills. Rooms on upper floors have great view over ocean. Parking outside/ below rooms ample. Good value.

Room Tip: If you want a view ask for top floor, 23 24 and 25 are best

Friendly reception, scrupulously clean and comfortable. Hotel and club virtually next door - Fisherman's Rec Club serves a great roast for a good price. Quiet location even on road.

A two-story older property on Imlay Street, three blocks off Princess Highway, in fine condition inside and out, the Twofold Bay Motor Inn is a good choice for a stay in Eden. Received with a friendly welcome by the owner's wife, we were assigned room #22 upstairs. Parking is in front of the rooms but there is no lift, and suitcases must be lugged upstairs.

Our carpeted room turned out to be rather large with a bay window offering partial ocean view. A surprise was to find a super comfortable true king size bed, a rarity and a treat. A couch, table with two chairs, flat screen TV, A/C, a kitchenette, a fridge stocked with coke, soft drinks, water, and ice cube tray provided all one needs for a comfortable stay. The room, kitchenette and the bathroom with a glass enclosed walk-in shower were absolutely spotless, not a scuff mark or a carpet stain anywhere. At night the room was absolutely quiet. A minor nuisance was the bathroom exhaust fan drawing a foul smell out of the floor drain while operating it without cracking a window open.

The owner readily offered advice, maps, and info on local sights and dining options. Very convenient is the Old Tom Restaurant in the Fishermen's Club across the street. It offers a large selection menu of well prepared food at reasonable prices. Seniors are extended a 10% discount. Two courtesy, free to use PC terminals are located downstairs near the reception desk at the Fishermen's Club. Further afield in Pembula, 12 km from Eden, is a fine Thai restaurant, Covingtons Thai Cuisine.

All in all, while not perfect in every regard, the Twofold Bay Motor Inn is a good choice for a stay in Eden.

Ideally situated at the end of the main street and handy to the museum this motel is a good place to base you tour of Eden and district. Sapcious room with a good size kitchen and bathroon.

Our room was downstairs so we could not take advantage of the great views that can be seen from the top floor. An older place that has had a facelift it was pleasant to stay there. The only downside was the noise from the room above whenever the toilet was used. Very noisy!

Lots of places to eat only a short walk away

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room to take advantage of the view

We stayed one night on drive from Hunter Valley to Melbourne. Although I had booked the least expensive type, the room had two beds (1 queen, one single), separate kitchenette, large bathroom, and tables in and out for breakfast. We enjoyed the view of the harbor from the picture window.

We ate dinner at a pub down the street; food was really fresh and good and, importantly after day of driving, we could walk there!

This was a midpoint in our lovely coastal drive. If you found yourself near here, it is a safe, clean and quiet place to stay

Recently stayed here for two nights on a quick trip to SE NSW. Very welcoming. Room was spacious, clean, great views of the ocean - everything just as advertised. Everything is provided for making your own breakfast, or they will cook one to your order. Some updating (new towels?) would not be out of place, but all in all, a terrific value.

Room Tip: Room 17 has the best views!

A good central location and staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
