We stayed here overnight in January, on the way from our drive from Sydney to Melbourne. We booked a two bedroom suite. It was perfect, clean, beds were comfy, bathroom was spacious, the little kitchenette was handy and they even gave us milk, handy with 2 young children. For the price we paid it was well worth it. Motor Inn's often have a reputation for being cheap and nasty, but this is NOT one of them. Would stay again if we are ever passing through.

This is an old-fashioned motel in nature, but of a very high quality. The rooms are nice and have been recently decorated, and beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is delivered through a flap in the wall in true Aussie country fashion! We had a room at the ocean end with what would have been a terrific view except that the walkway runs in front of the room so you couldn't really leave the blinds open to enjoy the view, as people walk past. There is a surprisingly good restaurant with amazing views, literally just over the road, at the Fisherman's Club. Also some cafes and a soon-to-be-opened fine dining restaurant at the Wharf a few minutes' walk away.

Room Tip: Worth paying the extra for a higher rated room

This has everything you need! Wonderful views of the sea, indoor swimming pool (separate towels provided), free wifi, large clean rooms, fridge, plates cutlery etc provided. Could not fault he accommodation and would recommend very highly. Owners are very accommodating too. We stayed for four nights to rest and enjoy the sea and walks in Eden

Booked this as a 4-star (?!) and it even has 4-stars on the sign out front, but I think a solid 3-star is closer to the mark. Decor is dated, but everything is clean and functional. Wi-Fi worked great for us except for VoIP. We were on lower level so didn't have a great view, but it wasn't bad either. Non-smoking rooms are great, and our only minor complaint was the odor of the cleaning agent - it was a bit overpowering upon entering the room, but eased with an open window and some time. Bed was comfortable which is more important than dusty rose and burgundy decor. Lower level definitely better if you don't want to do stairs. Jennifer was friendly and welcoming. Expensive for a 3-star, but we seemed to have been charged a premium for the long weekend.
