“Absolutely Magnificent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 September 2011

Spending a morning out on magnificent Twofold Bay, Eden, with Cat Balou Whale Watch is an experience to be treasured. Ros and Gordon have been operating whale watches and tours around Eden for 21 years and their knowledge and experience certainly shows! The Cat Balou boat is a large catamaran, spotlessly clean, with lots of outside viewing spaces ...in fact with so many choices and so much to look at the biggest problem is only being able to be in one place at a time! From the moment we left the Eden wharf we were totally dazzled by the abundance of marine life ...seals, sea birds, dolphins, and of course the magnificent humpback whales. While Ros gives a great commentary, Gordon manoevres Cat Balou so that you feel you are there with the whales without intruding into their lives ...the fact that the whales choose to swim under the boat and put on their amazing displays of lunging, breaching, and pectoral fin flapping before your eyes is awe inspiring. This is truly an uplifting and inspiring must do experience for everyone aged 2 to 120! Don't forget your camera!
