Description: Wharfside Cafe is a fully licensed cafe/restaurant situated on the harbour in Eden, New South Wales. Our view is beautiful and the fact that it is a working port makes it interesting as well. Dolphins come in close during winter and we have a resident seal that can quite often be seen playing around. Our cafe possesses a unique character with a mediterranean seaside feel. We take pride in serving fresh local seafood as well as a range of non-seafood meals and vegetarian options. We cater to the gluten intolerant and those with food allergies. Children are always welcome and we have choices for them as well. Our DiBella coffee is regarded as the best in town and we like to maintain this high standard. We are a friendly team of service staff who always strive to please our customers. During the high season we recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment. We look forward to serving you soon!

“If only this was my local cafe”
Reviewed 23 January 2014

I visited this gorgeous waterside cafe on a trip down from Sydney and I ordered the Eden Mussels which were the most amazing mussels I have ever eaten.
Not only is the food some of the freshest & most delicious food I've ever had, the friendly staff really made my visit.
Definitely stop by this cafe if you are in the area, you won't regret it!

“Boring and Bland”
Reviewed 2 January 2014 via mobile

Went here for breakfast after 1night stay in Eden with my BF. Menu very uninspiring but offered the usual suspects like scrambled eggs w/ bacon, muesli w/ yoghurt, raisin toast, French toast, big brekkie, corn fritters w/ bacon etc. The eggs were sloppy and so chopped up they looked like cornmeal. Bacon was nice but nothing special. White square bread for toast. Least it was buttered. Corn fritters were more like pancakes with a few kernels thrown in. Side order of mushrooms was decent size and tasty. They'd run out of OJ but had bottled pineapple and apple juice instead. Served with ice in a glass which was good. Service was ok but several tables remained uncleared and unwiped around us despite staff not being busy. Overall very average food and just a bit lacking in a welcoming vibe for a town dependant on tourists.
