Eden has limited options for dinner and Vicky's by the Wharf was recommended to us as a new restaurant in the area. We booked but I would suggest that when people ask for directions "at the wharf" is less than helpful for tourists trying to find their way in the dark.
The restaurant promotes itself as "Mediterranean seafood" using local produce so we were disappointed to be told that mussels and oysters were currently unavailable. The fish of the day was ling, silver dory or flathead. Hubbie had the Spanish prawns with chilli and garlic which was served on a small bed of rice - average. I had the zucchini fritters which were tasty but somewhat unattractively served looking a tad too much like rocky mountain oysters. We both had the flathead grilled, this was overpriced ($32 each) considering the portion and quality. The young waitress was attentive and professional.
An average restaurant in a town with little competition.
