Our family of 6 adults + 2 kids stayed at the Cedar glen homestead for 3D2N last month. And we all, especially the kids, really enjoyed it.
We went for the twilight 4 wheel drive tour up the mountains, and it was really a sight to behold. Owner Nigel drove us up, and was very helpful in explaining to us about the area. We were also brought to different area within the estate for picnic lunches on both day. The lost world was particularly nice and serene. All of us tried the horse ride, kids and parents went for the led ride, while other 4 of us went for 1hr trial ride, and we all had fun.
The homestead was nice and clean, and the queen beds had heated blankets. We took the full board package, and enjoyed the food as well. In addition to Nigel and his staff, there were a few ladies on travel holiday helping out at the homestead, and all of them were helpful and friendly too.
A very nice holiday experience overall.
