This is our first visit to Tin Can Bay and we loved our stay here and would highly recommend this park. The staff were very welcoming and informative, the sites are large and very well maintained with nice sunny aspects that aren't overshadowed by huge trees. There is a beautiful pool and the amenties are clean and well maintained and the park was very quiet and within walking distance to the foreshore, walking track and shops. Would certainly stay here again when we return to this area.

This park is very popular with grey nomads, but also is reasonably kid friendly. Dogs on leads are ok except at Christmas and Easter.

The new owners are very progressive and have solid plans to improve the Park.

The amenities block is a little dated but a refurbishment is planned within the next 12 months, having said that the facilities are adequate.

There is limited wifi near the office block, but an upgrade of this facility to cover the park would be a big plus.

A good place to stay and access to concrete walking paths is excellent.

I spent a few days here with my seven year old granddaughter. Meisha spent time riding around the park on her scooter and I felt very safe allowing her to do so. The cabin was great, I have stayed in motels that were not a patch on it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole complex was clean and tidy. Even though it was school holiday time and the park was full it was very quiet and peaceful. It was far enough away from the main road to be away from any traffic noise but only a short drive into the shops and cafes. We found plenty of walks and parks within a short drive and a trip to Rainbow beach was a very easy 40 minutes drive away

We recently stayed at this caravan park for 3 weeks. The ensuites are not the newest but are certainly the best in regards to size, layout and price. Lots of great walking in the area and not too far to drive to Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island, but much more quiet and relaxing. Some great places to eat as well. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Room Tip: Though the ensuites are at the back of the sites, the ones with odd numbers (1, 3, 5 etc) have a bit more room for the caravan.

Spent a long weekend here with the family and it was a lovely quiet location, facilities were very clean and neat and even though the park was fully booked we had no noise problems! Staff were very helpful and happy to guide us in the right directions for anything we asked. Yes could do with a bit of updating but really not a big deal for us! Great flat grassed site for the camper and will most likely stop by again. Only negative was after returning from an early morning feeding the dolphins we found the park covered in smoke from the burning off going on in the bush land next door, we would have liked to have been given the heads up that this was happening perhaps the day before so we could have closed everything up better but if the owners didn't know then I guess not much you can do... There was no danger so it was ok just smokey and everything smelt smokey afterwards.
