“Great day out”

Really like the variety of shops, eateries, food retailers, florist and bottle shop. Art Gallery is interesting too. Something for everyone including Trade Secret & Freedom Furniture.

“Very average”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 January 2014

Bought a rum n raisin ice cream and a turkey wrap yesterday, both very average.
I would'nt have minded so much if the customer service was good, but it was well below average.
Server not particularly friendly, minimal eye contact, no smile, no warmth.
I don't really find this to be acceptable.
If this had been my first and only experience at Ferry Rd Markets I would be very disappointed indeed

“no customer after sales service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2013

Have been purchasing rotisserie chickens from the Deli at Ferry Rd Market from opening day. Lately have found chickens to be undercooked and pink. Have not been able to eat them and have given them to my dog. This is a very expensive exercise as the chickens are $16.99 each. Yesterday again the chicken looked undercooked so I returned to the Deli to be told they are cooked enough. The pink colour is a preparation they use to soften the bones to make it easier for the staff to cut them. I was not offered another chicken, or a refund or asked how can they help. I ended up walking out, leaving my entire chicken there and minus $16.99. I have never experienced such a poor lack of after sales service particularly after being such a long time loyal customer. Very dissatisfied!

“GEM HIDDEN IN SOUTHPORT”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 October 2013

If you are a local and haven't been there then you MUST!!! This markets are cool, trendy and have options of food for different people. There is a restaurant with nice breakfast food or delicious lunch; there is a place that makes amaaaazing sandwiches and wraps and smoothies, ACAI soooo delicious, top quality gelato, Merlo Coffee and more!!!! The carpark is right outside and yes it can be packed during peak hours but then every where is like this on the GC!! anyways we always manage to get a carpark there on peak hours! I think the price is good since they have only high quality food there! If you are on a budget you can still get the sandwiches which are reasonably priced! They also have fresh cooked seafood at the back of the fruit/vege market which is the best fish and chips I have had on the GC!
