Six of us travelled to this amazing restaurant while on holiday to celebrate a birthday. I booked in the night before and Sharon was so friendly on the phone it looked like it was going to be a good idea. Well it certainly lived up to its previous reviews. Great location great service and excellent food. So glad we chose to go there. Bought some seafood afterwards all packed away in a box with ice thanks to Sharon. Well done guys you have done an excellent job setting it up and with your great personality and classy service you will do well. We will be back again in 12 months when next in the area. Absolutely loved it and would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone. Glenys, Peter, Cheryl, Noel, Chris and Richie

Very friendly and welcoming service, food was excellent and good value. Pleasant surroundings. Seafood platters are huge and have a great variety. We usually end up taking away a doggy bag!

Don't let the exterior fool you. Once you walk through the door, you are greeted by friendly and welcoming staff and the seafood is to die for! With a great menu and wine list to match this restaurant delivers a food experience that has to be tried. If travelling down through the Yorke peninsular, this is a must stop at place. In the daytime you can enjoy a lunch time feast, buy fish to take with you, or like we did, book up in advance and visit in the evening when you can have dinner prepared by a chef who clearly knows the art of cooking seafood.

With a group of six we went to this restaurant after reading the very good reviews but were disappointed. Certainly the outside is disappointing but the interior is better but very much cafe style decor and food to match.

The lobster bisque was good but the flavour was overawed by pepper. All of us had whiting which was good but for $34 not outstanding and the chips were warm and soggy. One of us had battered whiting and the batter was very thick and under cooked. We were given a $5 discount after the waitress noticed that the batter was scraped off the fish.

There were only three tables and one of these left shortly after we arrived. The other table was a group of 5 men and one woman. This table was very rowdy and one chap still wearing a baseball cap was exceptionally loud. We twice requested the staff ask the table to be quieter to no avail. Due to the noise we didn't stay for dessert.

Maybe the normal staff/chef were not working this particular night.

I would return if the prices reflected the cafe style of this restaurant.

Went for lunch during a weekend trip to the yorke peninsula. Nice staff and lovely food. Scallops to start were great followed by king George whiting cooked perfectly! Would definitely recommend for a treat whilst on the peninsula.
