“Quirky & entertaining. Worth a stop.”
Reviewed 13 April 2014 via mobile

Our family loves railways so this was a must stop. $35 for our family of 8.
We were warmly welcomed and guided through by the owner and creator of this quirky attraction. There are railways and displays inside and outside all very colourful and sparkly.
An incentive to win a prize is at stake and to win the prize answers to a quiz are to be found by way of inspecting the hundreds of characters and displays within the building.
A tour and meander of the outside display is enjoyed, then the children get the chance to control trains in another section.
Plenty of interaction allowed. The kids loved it. As adults we appreciated the enormous amount of work put into the displays. A must for families!
There is also Devonshire teas to be enjoyed for those who wish.

“Excellent value, highly entertaining with great coffee for mum and dads!”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

So much work has gone into this fantasy railway, the is a guided tour which I was hesitant to do at first as it was really just to get the kids out of the house, but after we were given things to look for by the station master Graham I found my sons enjoyed themselves more, they were given a chance to drive a model train and at the end of it all got given lollies for the quiz, coffee and biscuits lovely and very reasonable, cost next to nothing , a definate to do again!

You think that you are going to see a model railway - in fact there are six of them in all shapes and sizes, with plans for several more. The scenery is all based on fantasy - you name it - it is there somewhere - from "Barbie" to floating castles and even a working cable car. We spent an hour there marveling at the hour and hours that must have gone into creating such a fantastic experience.

“What a little nugget!”
Reviewed 15 August 2013

This is actually a folly of sorts, a modern everyman's folly rather than the 19th century lavish English version. This bloke has built his childhood toy fantasy, involving toy trains, cars, dolls, soldiers, lego, mechano, empty food containers et cetera to create well, sort of, well, something. Interesting not so much in itself as the way it is a window into the creator's aching, twisted, corny soul...

“Fantastic Venue for a Kids Party!”
Reviewed 17 June 2013

We travelled from Adelaide to the South East to celebrate our son turning 3. Through some investigating we came across this place and took a gamble and booked a birthday party here.

It was AWESOME!! All I had to do was invite people and bring along a cake. Graham and Rose hosted the whole party from start to finish. It was quite structured, and we had to do it in a particular order, but that was ok. We made our party even more fun by having it 'fancy dress'. Our party was for about 30 people.

Rose and Graham went out of their way to make our son feel special and have a special day. It was great to see all the mini displays and watch the trains go around. It was also interesting to hear about the plans Graham has for the future of this theme park.

We will definately be back to visit next time we are down that way, when there is no party to distract us!!
