We spent time in Sydney, Adelaide, Robe, Port Fairy, Melbourne - our night in Robe was by far the highlight! We only wished we had planned to stay there longer. The apartment is lovely and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the layout is perfect for a couple or a family. We loved sitting on the veranda, hearing the waves and following the short path to the beach - perfect. Our stay, the property, the hosts and the homemade jam far exceeded our expectations. We look forward to having a longer stay as soon as possible!

We come from South Australia down the Ocean Road and were hit by huge storms after staying here. We loved the space here and the huge king bed was soft on one side and firmer on the other, good for my old bones

Tessa brought us some of her home made yoghurt, never had home made so delicious!
All the food provided is in abundance and wish I was younger so I could eat it all!

We went to see the beach along the path out the back, waves were tremendous, beach covered of course. There is all exterior provisions provided like barbeques, tables, seating etc.

All good things said by others we confirm, would have been nice to stay longer, we did follow Tessa's reccomendation of visiting chinese restuarant The Dragon Village I had the duck but will follow up that on restuarants site.

At the risk of sounding repetitive, all the previous reviewers of this property are exactly correct!
A joyous place to relax with the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach a short stroll away.
Lots of lovely thoughtful touches and really nothing missing from the setup.
Tessa is absolutely perfect in the role of B&B hostess, available if needed, and the leaves you to your own devices.

Well situated for town and with a small beach in front. two large double bedrooms with full bathroom in between. Large lounge with kitchen.. Further single bedroom with bathroom. Also a utility room with washer and dryer. Great outdoor terrace complete with barbecue. Tessa was a great host who recommended and booked a table at a restaurant called Sails in town

We stayed here for one night as we travelled towards the Great Ocean Road and form the moment we pulled up, we didn't want to leave!
Tessa is the most welcoming of hosts and the accommodation is superb beyond words. You have the whole of the ground floor of her beautiful home to yourselves, which means you can sit on the patio with a cold drink and watch the sun go down, relax in the sumptuous lounge or take advantage of the best night's sleep ever in the widest bed I've ever seen!
The beach is literally over the sand dune at the bottom of the garden, or you can take a 10 minute stroll into Robe and browse the local shops.
Goodies for breakfast are provided in the fridge when you arrive, along with a welcome bottle of wine. There is also a great laundry room for catching up on the necessities of travel.
We travelled for over two weeks in Australia and this little gem came top of our list for accommodation. If you're looking for deluxe accomodation in Robe then book this place immediately!

What a pleasant surprise.

The suite is huge, tasteful and clean.
Our bedroom was furnished with a huge California king bed. Superbly comfortable bed, luxury linens and a spacious bedroom furnished with classic antique furniture. Suitcase racks for our luggage were provided.

There is another room with huge double bed and a modern clean bathroom between the two bedrooms.

There is a full kitchen; large dining/sitting room; laundry facilities and a spacious protected verandah facing the beach (you can't actually see the beach but you can hear the surf (because of the dunes) but it's a 30 second walk and a very quiet spot). I think there is also another bedroom hiding somewhere in the huge accommodation.

Tessa the owner is great and provides everything you could possibly need - including a wonderful bottle of Limestone Coast wine (that was delicious) chilled in the fridge. Ample breakfast provisions, tea/coffee etc.

Entertainment: Heaps of magazines provided. A huge bookcase full of interesting books. The TV is a newish, 30" approximately, plasma type, and its located in the corner in a cupboard designed for older TVs - viewing is restricted from the sofa and one chair which is a shame. Austar is provided and TV reception is good.

The accommodation is carpeted making it cosy and plush.

Overall experience was very classy and the furniture, surroundings and provisions were superb.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Room Tip: Choose the room with big Calfornia king bed. Superb accommodation in Robe. Classic, comfy and wel...
