This is a no frill take out style. The BBQ is great but pricy..Make sure you bring cash they don't accept debit or credit...There was no ATM near by either...It is is a very tight space to park and get in/out of.. Remember this is a tourist area which mean there are lines and traffic.. I would recommend going not during the meal rush... Other than that Great :)

I dislike that I could not find menu prices for the Live Oak Drive-In anywhere online, so I took photos of their menu and prices after hours, and post them here so others can know the cost before they commit to eat there. Information, people! It's not cool to keep your prices a secret!

A local resident recommended this special place. The scallop and oyster sandwiches were like nothing we've had anywhere else....wonderful local delicacies. Try the sandwiches "all the way" with slaw, catsup and tartar sauce. The onion rings were the best we've had: crunchy, crisp and light. You can actually taste the onion! It was a bargain for the quality of the food.

Must go too! Only take cash or check. Do recommend calling order in first for pick up. If you go and place order then plan to be in line. You will see people dining in their car after getting their order. Known for their shrimp burgers. They have burgers, wings and all the fried seafood you see when you on the coast. Go "all the way" on your burgers, because there is no other way to go when you are in the south. Very popular with the locals.

why buy from a place that sells only frozen and not even owned by a true local.crab shack is the real deal and not much different in price....wouldn't feed my dog there...
