The Jetty area is a great place to park if you have a caravan in tow.
Not too much to see here, but it I the location of the original town of Wyndham.

The Rusty shed (café), Wyndham Hotel and the Wyndham Historical Society Museum are right in this area and worth a visit.

The jetty and port are interesting but there is nothing in the town which is the most northerly town in WA. Go to the lookout at the back of the town to see the remarkable scenery that is the gulf and the surrounding mud flats and the entrance of the Ord River and two others .Go in winter in the dry season.

This is actually the original town site so all the historic buildings are actually in this area. There is a public access jetty where folk can fish from. The iron ore loading facility is in this area but it can be seen better from the 5 rivers look out. Cheapest diesel we have found in the Kimberly is available at the 3 mile.

Great new jetty, solid as a rock, nice inclined walkway access to lower section making it suitable for wheelchair or elderly access if you want to get closer to the water. Watch out for prawn trawler tied up there as his prawns are beaut. Green frozen and $20 kg makes for good buying.

Great views of the surrounding countryside and mud flats. Bought some fresh banana prawns from Simon straight from his boat at the jetty, lovely and fresh and sweet.
