The Grandhouse York B&B

We booked last minute and received nothing but a friendly welcome, homely environment and a wonderful homemade breakfast catering for a gluten free diet. A couples night offering a well equipped spa suite, including candles. Very comfortable and warm, and the cleanliness exceptional. We loved the peace and quiet, the personal touches of wine and chocolates.
Leanne was very helpful and was an amazing host. We would strongly recommend boutique B&B to anyone who wants private downtime not far from Perth.

Room Tip: Spa suite, perfect for a private couples night to unwind.

A really outstanding B & B. Our second visit was as good as our first stay. Leanne and Bronwyn are both wonderful hosts. Tea and a wonderful chocolate cake greeted us when we arrived. it was like coming home. Beds very comfortable, breakfast was excellent with homemade yogurt
and pastries. Welcoming common area with fireplace for those who wish to be sociable and who wouldn't want to be when travelling in this part of the world. For those we want more privacy that is available too.
Couple hour drive from Perth Airport.

My room at the Grand House in York was really comfortable, well set up and equipped. The living area had all possible games, books and DVDs anybody could want and the breakfast was of high quality and very generous. But the best thing about the stay was Leanne, who welcomed us and really got out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She was responsible for turning a good weekend getaway into a great one!

We were lucky enough to stay at the Grandhouse for two nights. Bronwyn our hostess
was fantastic down to the scones waiting for our arrival and the breakfast next morning was awesome.
As we sat by the fire drinking our wine on a coolish evening deciding where to go for dinner Bronwyn offered to pick up takeaway for us. Unbelievable service. The rooms were spotless and the ensuite was huge with its own heater. Recommend it to all.

Room Tip: Both rooms our family stayed in were quiet and very light and airy

This was the first time that we have stayed at a B&B, and if they are all like this one we will definately do it again. From the minute that we arrived we were made to feel like part of the family. Bronwyn our host had fresh scones and tea waiting for us, we relaxed before dinner in front of a cosy woodfire sipping a glass of wine, while chatting to the other guests. The room was elegantly decorated with a comfy bed. Continental breakfast was a full spread of fresh croisants, danishes, cereals, fresh fruit and homemade yoghurts. Bronwyn served us with real coffee, this was truly a personal service with attention to detail. Thanks Bronwyn we will definately reccommend you to others. Richard and Petrie.

Stayed there over a long weekend. The friendly and personable hosts made the place warm and welcoming. The beds are very comfy and the breakfast and afternoon tea yummy. Beautiful garden and place. The accommodation itself was full of interesting collectibles, even a grand piano and a wide selection of books, dvds and magazines available. Location was not far away from the town centre yet close enough. Would love to stay again...
