We were misled by one of the York guide book to go there in search of the York Mill Market just to find out that its been stop for years. There were a few shops there. The bakery was quite nice. The apricot and nut bread was really good. Besides the shops, there aren't much to see there.

Very expensive. Way over the top, Wasn't really much to see. We never ate there so cannot comment on the food or service.

York was such a nice place to visit on our trip - only an hour from Perth and a lovely drive down the main street. Full of historic buildings reminiscent of what we've sen in rural England.
The York mill is one of these lovely historic buildings that takes you back to another time.

Average bric a brac for sale next door, excellent local timber furniture sold inside the mill (however VERY expensive) and a cafe out the back.

Was very busy on the long weekend but still worth a stop for a look around the gallery and associated shops.
