I stayed at the Sea la Vie bed and breakfast for 10 days. It is a block from the sound and 3 blocks from the beach. The owner and her son provide sailboats, kayaks, bicycles, hot tub and pool and you can use anything at the house. It is a beautiful 8 bedroom home with amazing views of the sunset. We had wine on the top deck with the owner and watched the sunset. They have a grill, fishing rods, a big beach cart, volleyball and bocci set we took to the beach a couple of times. Breakfast is just cereal, bagels, toast with juice and coffee but that was fine with us. Anne showed us lots of cool things to do every day, the lighthouse and the pea island preserve, where to buy a kite to fly on the beach and the best places to eat. We had a great time and thought it was well worth the drive. Will probably go back next summer... great value and she limits the # of people in the house so it did not seem crowded. There were 3 other couples there but we barely saw them... but they were nice. We know she is "picky" and she talked to us a lot before booking but hey it's her home soooo.....I hope it did not get hit by the hurricane to badly.
