My original review somehow wound up placed under Cedar Island--so this is my second review. This inn is a do-not-miss. There is nothing wanting; it is beautiful, pristine, comfortable, and the innkeepers go to all lengths to ensure your comfort and pleasure. If you love historic sites, you are sleeping in one of the area's best-known locales--the home of Robert Ruark. Better yet, its renovation has steeped this place in luxury. The most amazing shower ever is in the downstair's suite. Food is delicious; but the hospitality is 5 star as well. The grounds are kept to a gorgeous standard and if anything, this inn exceeds any expectation you might have. If you want to fall deeply in love with all things Southport, make this your destination!
