We stopped on the way up to see family in another state and used a coupon from a hotel coupon book. The lady at the check in was very nice and got us checked in quickly.
Even though the room had a few coats of paint on it to had any issues it may have it still needed to be updated as it was obvious this is an older hotel. The room was cleanish but I didn't want to look too closely.
The free breakfast was nothing special, a typical hotel breakfast with some basic pastries, apple and orange juices, coffee and a waffle maker. We were told about the sausage biscuits which were really wrapped in plastic (reminded me of a vending machine item) and a microwave was nearby to heat them up.
This is one of those stops where you're looking for a place to get inside to a bed to sleep, some shelter in case it rains and a free breakfast in the morning before checking out.
Nothing really to want me to come back again.More
