After travelling nine hours we arrived at the Sleep Inn ready for a restful evening. We found the staff friendly and helpful and the room clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was adequate for our needs. We have stayed at several Sleep Inns and very much appreciate the walk-in showers as opposed to the bathtub type. For this reason when we travel in the future we will first look for a Sleep Inn.

Stayed at this hotel for almost a week. I agree with others that it's a little difficult to turn in from the left side of the road, or to make a left out of the driveway, but not impossible. Ask for a room that's not close to the street, there is lots of traffic. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the bed. Cindy at the front desk is a doll, very agreeable and helpful with anything you ask of her. The housekeeping staff are okay. I didn't find the breakfast room too crowded any morning I went, but you better get there before 9 a.m. because boy, the breakfast employee is right there at 8:58 or right at 9 a.m. to take the food away, it doesn't matter if there are several people still sitting there eating. We choose this place because it had a pool and we got a great rate by joining the Choice Hotel Club, which the Sleep Inn is a member of. We were so busy visiting family though, that we never even looked at the pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing the street.

Made an online reservation ($59), great price, nice room (clean but no bathtub). Room had a frig with separate freezer, large flat screen TV with lots of stations, great picture, microwave oven, comfortable bed, quiet. Breakfast was marginal and the small breakfast room can get very crowded quickly. The staff was exceptional but the access to the hotel is really bad. Approaching the hotel heading north after exiting I-40, it can be very difficult to turn left into the tiny driveway. Leaving the hotel it is almost impossible to turn left. Even turning right can be difficult.

Stayed here while attending the Balloon Festival. It was a chilly day turned on the heat in room and the smoke alarm started going off, had to turn heat off. Breakfast area is small very crowd on a Sunday morning. Took what little food I could get too back to my room. Had a hard time finding a parking place when I got back late in the evening. It is in a quiet area on a hill away from the interstate.

For the money this place is not bad. Convenient location. Breakfast area is small and very busy on a Sunday morning. Room seemed to be clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Wi-fi works great. Good average motel.

Was on my way to Ft Benning
GA on September 18,2013.
Needed a place to stop and I was near Statesville, NC.
Stopped in for the night and was
Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was clean had two beds in the room, clean and working
Bathroom. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful.
The breakfast was worth the stay. Waffles, tea or coffee, apple juice, Danish and fruits.
Good hotel for an overnight stay.

After a several long hours on the road we decided to call it quites for the night and stayed here. The price was very good for what we got. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were nothing fancy but they were clean. And the buffet breakfast the next day was fairly decent. The sitting area for the breakfast is very tight and small however. The only problem we had was it was chilly that night and when we turned the heat on (probably had not been run all summer since it was the start of fall) it smoked and set the fire detecor off. Was not found of the set up as far as the bathroom was concerned but like I said it was one night and it was clean and the price was right so it worked.
