We all loved Aberffraw. The cottage itself was comfy and classy and suited us adults and it was quirky and fun which suited the kids. Definitely coming again, 110%.

“Wow, exceeded expectations and dog friendly to boot.”

We weren't expecting too much as it was fairly last minute and only picked for convenience to the Anglesey track, as my partner had a track day.

From the moment we pulled up we were impressed. Lots of parking, important as we had 2 cars; easy book in; quick response to queries (my fault not theirs); light, clean and comfortable. Just what we wanted.

The decor is bright and pleasant and there were lots of nice touches. The small dining table, we like to sit down to a home cooked meal; the table and bench outside which we enjoyed and sat drinking tea and watching the birdlife; things like towels and washing up liquid and a pint of milk in the fridge.

Although not a large village there is a small local shop, with good sausages, bread and biscuits, as well as the usual essentials; a stones throw from a dog freindly beach and lots of spaces for long walks along the coast and over the dunes.

I can highly recommend the tea room especially for breakfast and the gluten free chocolate cake is heaven (and I'm not gluten free). Also The Crown is highly recommended as well from us; good food and beer, excellent value and dog freindly to boot.

The whole village was friendly and there are more beautiful beaches and walks close by. It is also ideal for a trip to Southstack.

All in all we would 100% recommend the village, area, accommodation and managing agent.

“Absolutely Brilliant!!!!!!!”

Gorgeous cottage, spotlessly clean, comfy bed. All this in the perfect unspoilt location. Lovely walks to the beach and the dunes and the coastal path finished off with dinner in the local pub. Everyone has time to talk to you, it's so laid back and relaxing and all the locals were just great. Couldn't have wished for a better week, just perfect. Our dog has run for miles and miles and also had the time of her life. I have a feeling we'll be back but hope and pray that Aberffraw resists any urge to become too commercialised and remains unspoiled!!
