As a frequent visitor of this part of of NC, and an attendee of the wedding "across the street" on stated dates, apparently you do not know that Valle Crucis has a strict 10:00 noise ordinance. The music and dancing wrapped up before 10:00pm. So, your comments that the music (noise) across the street went on late into the night doesn't hold up. If you consider 10:00pm late into the night, then you've never been to a real wedding. If you were requiring complete solitude, maybe you should have rented a private cabin up in the mountains in the surrounding area. Any time you stay in a B&B there is going to be noise of people coming and going. I know ALL of the people who stayed at the Inn - and none of them are the type to make a lot of noise - in fact most of them were the elderly grandparents of the bridal party.

The Mast Farm Inn is a FABULOUS place to stay...AND to host a wedding. I have nothing but the best compliments for Danielle and her staff. Everything was absolutely perfect for not only all of our guests who stayed at the Inn, but also the picture-perfect wedding that was held across the street.

So, do not be disheartened by Jeffery's negative review. The Mast Farm Inn is wonderful, as is the staff. Someone is always there to meet your needs, the food is amazing, and the rooms are nice and quaint. AND...even if there is a wedding/event across the street...they wrap up no later than 10:00pm. Anyone who has ever attended an evening wedding will know that 10:00pm is not "late into the night" to finish up the joyous occasion of a wedding.

I would recommend this location in a heartbeat to anyone wanting to enjoy this beautiful part of NC! Well done, Danielle and staff!

We stayed here August 16 & 17 for a Niece's wedding. Our stay was wonderful. Food was excellent. They even fixed an early "to go" breakfast for 2 people in our party because they were going golfing and would miss breakfast. We explored the grounds and up by the pond was a great place to relax and just enjoy the surroundings. They went above and beyond during our stay.
I just read another review that complained about the loud music from across the road. From the date that he posted this, I am assuming that he was there the weekend we were and that would have been the wedding reception across the road. We were in the front room of the house on the second floor (Joe Mast Room). My husband was tired that evening and we were driving home the next day, so we left the wedding and retired to our room at 10 PM. We could not hear the music from across the street, so I don't know what the other people were talking about.
Loved the area and would definately come back again.

We just experienced a wonderful anniversary weekend at the Mast Farm Inn. Last year, we choose the Mast Farm Inn to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and the accommodations could not have been better . Because of the impressive staff and genuinely warm hospitality, we decided to return to again celebrate our anniversary. We stayed again at the Loom House, one of our favorite places to stay. Even though the weather turned inclement later in our stay and the Inn was involved with a wedding or two, we were warmly received and made right at home. I would like to single out Rebecca Smith for having such a wonderful personality and can-do attitude to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. The rest of the staff was equally as accommodating. Highly recommend the Loom House! It is a very special place. An old time cabin with modern amenities. It was even nice to hear the rain hit the roof! The restaurant is top-notch and I will review separately. Once again, I would like to thank Ms Danielle Deschamps and her staff for a great stay. We are already planning to return in the winter. Can't wait!

Room Tip: Choose the Loom House! It may be more expensive, but it is a unique experience.

This was our first visit, and we were very impressed. We had one of the new cottages, and it was quite roomy with full kitchen. Wonderful outdoor porch overlooking pine trees and mountain in distance. Staff was friendly and very responsive. Well situated for visits to Blowing Rock, Boone, Grandfather Mountain. Breakfasts were a real treat as well.

We got married at the Mast Farm Inn and not only did we have the perfect wedding, but we had an amazing stay. We were very impressed by the adorable rooms, the fabulous food, service and property in general. Our wedding guests also enjoyed the Mast Farm Inn and especially the delicious breakfast. If you live in a big city and are looking for a getaway with a slower pace, definitely stay in one of their cabins.

Room Tip: The Granary and Maple Springs are adorable and very spacious.
