“Just OK”
Reviewed 24 January 2014

Although we told waitress that we had a coupon, we were not able to use it, "salads are not entree's" even though they were dinner sized with protein. The salads were good. One had a mix of seafood, one was seared shrimp. The fried pickle chips appetizer was very good. The dessert was ok, but not worth the price. Overall, just fair food for high price. The manager should have come over to explain why we could not use the coupon, especially since the waitress thought our order qualified!

“One good, One Not So..”
Reviewed 19 January 2014

Went on a Friday night and was quite busy, by the time we left (7:30) there were a few folks waiting to be seated.

I had the Fried Seafood Platter which I thought was very good, plump scallops, large shrimp, and a crab cake that was so-so. Not heavily breaded and (was told) it was all fresh, and tasted as though it was. On the down side, my friend had the fried flounder which he did not finish as it was greasy and tasteless. Crab bisque had very little crab and was mostly "bisgue." While I would probably return, he would not. Thus the "average" score.

PS Don't go unless you have a coupon, as it is pricey without it.

“Could go either way”
Reviewed 10 January 2014 via mobile

Went here for lunch with 3 others not knowing exactly what to expect. Sanitation was good(98) so I felt okay so far. Started with the appetizer sampler which was surprising very good. I had the crab cake sandwich which was eh, another had the ahi tuna which she said was good, one had the bacon cheeseburger which I was told was good the last had the peppercorn burger which was not good at all. Overall in a pinch it would do for lunch but not on my immediate go back to list.

“Quaint little place with good food”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

We eat at Blue Fin's on at least a monthly basis. My favorite meal on the menu is the King Neptune's dinner. A really nice seared 6 ounce Tuna steak over well seasoned and cooked spinach and four delicious coconut shrimp. The combination of it all together is just scrumptious! The salmon and talapia dishes are equally good. The restaurant is fairly small so it tends to be a little more intimate and quiet. It has a nice bar area. The staff are really nice and attentive to the needs of the customers. The atmosphere is modern, but comfy. The deserts change from time to time and they have some pretty awesome cheesecake. The Sunday brunch is fun and a really good deal. If you are in the area, I would recommend the restaurant, but you will want to arrive early. Because the restaurant is so small, there aren't very many tables. The owner has tried to add some outside seating during the summer, but it all fills up quickly. If you arrive by 5:30 on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night, you might have to wait.
