Got a note from Groupon saying it's closed. Too bad, I planned to go there this week. I always thought the food was pretty good, although I had good and not-so-good experiences.

My wife and I had a late lunch/early dinner here, we purchased a Groupon coupon online. The restaurant is tucked away in a corner which was great because you did not have people peering in the window while you are eating. The food was good, the staff could have been more attentive, our drinks were empty through our meal. but all in all we had a nice time..

Went for dinner with another couple. The service was friendly, though not real well-informed. (She had to forward all of our questions to another server) We all had seafood. The food wasn't bad, but wasn't anything to rave about. A little pricey for as casual a restaurant as this is. Blue Fin's is in a shopping plaza in Wake Forest. Not hard to find at all. The menu has a lot of other options if someone in your group doesn't like seafood.

I had the lunch combo and chose the crab cake and scallops. The coating on the scallops was light - not a little piece of scallop shrouded in tempura. The crab cake was wonderful. We were served by Lisa who was very friendly and, extremely efficient . A really nice change of pace - local owner - unchained
Absolutely loved all the art work done by local artists.

We tried this spot for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The menu, which focuses on seafood, also has burgers, salads, chicken and pasta dishes but there is an emphasis on fresh seafood. Today NC oysters were featured and there is a lunch combo that allows you to select two seafood specialties such as shrimp, crab cakes, flounder, oysters, scallops. The fried shrimp were nicely done as were the oysters which we tried. On a very rainy, miserable day, the restaurant had a lot of locals and regulars dropping in; service was friendly and good.
