Ate here for my wife's birthday and it was all-around excellent. We had fried pickles for an appetizer, my wife had a filet seasoned and cooked perfectly. It was served with a goat cheese sauce (my wife had it on the side) and a homemade steak sauce served on the side as well. I had the pasta with mushroom bolognese which was very good. For dessert it was bourbon caramel pecan pie with salted caramel ice cream. Amazing! The service was great and the atmosphere comfortable. Thanks for a great birthday dinner!!

The ambience, including the warm surroundings and down-home music set the tone for comfortable, casual yet elegant dining. I recommend the Sweet Onion Bisque and the salad with the goat-cheese fritters--also they have a good wine list. The service was friendly and well informed. It was a great Saturday night dining experience---but be certain to have reservations.

Have you ever been at a restaurant on vacation and wished you could move it back to your hometown so you could enjoy it more often? That is exactly how we felt about Frog's Leap. It was, without doubt, the best restaurant we went to or saw in Waynesville. I suppose the vibe and menu may be a small bit "edgy" for some, but for 99% of folks who just plain love good food, we would give this two big thumbs up.

What a unique place. The menu is very good & is always changing which makes each visit interesting.
The food is delicious. It can be a little smoky inside but other then that just a great place!

A group of us ate dinner at Frogs Leap tonight; it was a great choice. Appetizers were delicious; fried goat cheese and peach salad was great, though short on peach. Both grouper and trout are highly recommended; angels on horseback (fried oysters) was way too salty. Delicious dessert rounded out the meal.
