We went with two other couples for lunch on a sunny August day. I went for the view, which everyone says is magnificent. IT IS! There is also a nice porch with several comfy rocking chairs where you can sit, rock and take in that magnificent view of the Blue Ridge mountains. I also appreciated the many colorful quilts on display within the restaurant itself. The food was very good and the portions were huge. I couldn't even eat half of my BBQ platter -- which came with pork, corn fritters, fries and coleslaw. I loved it all. My husband had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes which he pronounced 'very good.' The friend across from me opted for a salad and it was so huge she took most of it home.
