We went here for seafood. My wife had the fried oysters and I had the High Country Shrimp. Both were very good. Maggie's is a local favorite and off the beaten path. Prices were great and service was excellent.

A restaurant that has NO redeeming values is horrible, But, one that had a couple very good things which were then followed by very bland is nothing short of disappointing. You feel like you were a victim of bait and switch. We had eaten here in the past at the old location and had a fairly decent meal, but the main entrees today were worse than seafood we've had in hospital cafeteria. The fish cuts were fairly thin and so the edges were all over done, but worse than that, the fish was fairly tasteless.

The seafood chowder was simply outstanding and the gumbo was very good, but beyond that the only thing good about the meal was the friendly and excellent service.

This is one time where you just know we won;t be back - unless it is just for some of that seafood chowder.

Took some out of town relatives there for dinner...I ordered the fried oysters and scallops..waitress said I could not get them cooked different ways...both had to be fried????? The scallops were terrible and my daughter did not eat her scallops they were soooo bad! Worst meal ever! I have had lunch there and had their fish and chips which was fine. Seems if you go to a restaurant you could get your food prepared the way you want it. Not here. Very disappointing and a little embarrassed. The waitress was excellent. I won't be going back.

This place has become a favorite. Try to get Scott as your server. Clam chowder is always thick and good. Add a little of their special hot sauce for a pleasant kick. Great menu. Huge crowds and long waits so arrive early. Skip the booths with back to back seating, they are horrible especially when some sits behind you. They need to go!

Worth the visit! We go there almost once a week. The scallops are my favorite, lightly blackened.
