I was really surprised at the location of Haywood's in a residential neighborhood. The restaurant is in a house that has been converted to an eating establishment, and it has outdoor seating in the back. Definitely a hidden gem! Everyone in our party of seven ordered the barbecue brisket and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I ordered a vegetable plate. Each of the vegetables I ordered were delicious. The green beans in particular reminded me of my grandmother's cooking from years ago.
