This was our second stay at the Inn on Main Street, and it was just as lovely the second time around. We took a last minute casual weekend trip to the area for our anniversary. With the last minute arrangements, I called the night before to see if there was a chance we could book the only remaining room for just one night. Typically there is a two night minimum, but Dan was very accommodating given the last minute notice and welcomed us anyway.

We stayed in the Forest Room, one of the two rooms that allows small dogs, which allowed us to travel with our beloved miniature dachshund. If you take your dog, please do review the pet policy on the website, as it may not suit everyone, but it suited us just fine. The room was very comfortable and I have no complaints.

Dan & Nancy are wonderful hosts. They truly enjoy getting to know their guests, and go out of their way to make your stay delightful. My wife has an allergy to dairy, and not only did Dan & Nancy adjust the meal to accommodate, they also managed to keep everything tasting delicious, dairy or not. This is not always an easy feat with breakfast.

We'll definitely be back a third time. The Weaverville area is the perfect place to stay for us. It's a beautiful town in it's own right, but also close to Asheville and Hot Springs, two places we love to visit.

Stayed at the Inn on Main Street for 3 nights. Dan and Nancy were very welcoming and informative...with good suggestions for where to dine and things to see. Great hospitality with appetizers and a drink on the back porch in the late afternoon, good breakfasts and homemade brownies/cookies for something sweet after dinner. Bed was very comfortable...stayed in Kiser Room. Even installed screens for us so we could sleep with windows open. Town of Weaverville was a great find, as we ate dinner there all three nights. Would highly recommend.

I stayed in the Garden Cottage and it was like staying at home in the country. Nancy and Dan are great innkeepers and did everything to make sure my stay was perfect. The breakfasts were really delicious and Dan the Muffin Man's title is well deserved.

Room Tip: Go with the Garden Cottage and you can't go wrong.

I don't usually stay at inn's, however my friend and I had a job in Weaverville to do and the customers of ours checked us into the Inn on Main. It was fantastic, so beautiful and decorated with amazing antiques. We stayed in the Lee room, two twin beds and the room had a gas fireplace and since it was still cold out we used it. Great whirlpool tub, which I surely enjoy after a hard days work. The breakfast was delicious. Dan the muffin man, owner along with his wife makes these amazing muffins. One day it was banana walnut raisin and the next poppy seed. Overall this was a great experience and I highly recommended The Inn on Main. Also Weaverville is a quant little town with wonderful restaurants.

Room Tip: All rooms are great

We really like the town of Weaverville and Inn on Main Street is a wonderful place to stay. The host Nancy and Dan are great. Very nice, informative and helpful. The Inn is beautiful and very clean and comfortable. We were in town to help our daughter relocate and are very sad knowing we will not be returning soon. A very special thanks to Nancy and Dan for the muffins!!

Room Tip: Nancy gave us a tour of each of the rooms and I would be happy with any of them. If you have a lot...

Had a great time. My husband I have never stayed in a B&B before. We were looking for a long teenager free weekend and this really hit the spot! Very nice stay. We arrived a little later then planned and Dan met us graciously. Home was warm and cozy as was the garden room we stayed in. It was a chilly weekend the fire place was such a blessing and relaxing aspect. The Inn Keepers Dan and Nancy where pleasant and inviting and very kind and accommodating, very knowledgeable on local restaurants and activities. Food was good, I look forward to staying with them again!

We arrived to a warm welcome by Dan.
The Ayers room was large, had a comfortable bed, a gas fireplace which not only warmed the room but was relaxing to look at. The bathroom was very large.
Both Dan and Nancy were knowledgeable about where to eat and what to do.
The breakfasts were bountiful.
The Wi-Fi worked.
We'd stay there again.

[Note: this is very close to Asheville.]
