We love everything at Blue Mountain Pizza! They are always friendly and attentive and the pizza is the best. Order a single slice and it's HUGE - equivalent to a couple of slices at other places. They will even let you customize any of their pizzas. Very cozy inside and sometimes it can get quite noisy even before the live music starts so we usually prefer to eat outside. And with such a quaint town as Weaverville, why not eat outside!

I visited this restaurant most recently with my hiking group at the end of a hike, and we were all starved. The staff was upbeat and accommodating. The special of the day was a salad plus a slice with a choice of two toppings, which is what most of us ordered. The draught beer selection was varied enough to satisfy all beer drinkers. The salad was larger than expected, crispy lettuces, tasty tomatoes, onions, carrots, and cukes. The house dressing was tangy and not too sweet (cannot remember what they called it!). But my pizza slice, oh my!!! It was huge!! and the toppings (spinach and mushrooms) were plentiful and not overpowered by the sauce and cheese. A good time was had by all.

It seem to be THE place to meet. There was live music and great food. Service was also great! And it was within walking distance to our Bed and Breakfast

My family goes to Blue Mountain Pizza every chance we get. They have a wide variety of unusual pizzas, casual atmosphere, and great service. They also have live music many times on the weekend.

...to say enough about BMP? Start with the pizza. In the opinion of most folks in Asheville, it is by far the best...and that's in a town noted for food. Many other things on the menu are also wonderful...recognizing that everyone's tastes are different (even in pizza), not all would agree, but having eaten there almost since it opened I've heard very few locals ever criticize what is served. Beer? They now brew their own, which usually outsells other very fine locally brewed selections (which they also carry)...and Asheville was voted Beer City three consecutive years. Music? Varied and usually well done. Yes, it can get noisy, but that's part of the fun. Community. Too much to relate. Suffice to say that there are very few owners that are as giving to their employees, local charities and individuals as is Matt...and that's why your servers are so knowledgeable and good to the customers. Price? Very reasonable for what you get, which is top quality, a huge selection, good wines, wonderful dessert...and soon, the richest ice cream in town. Oh yes. About once a quarter they do a one seating reservations only special fix price dinner that is excellent and totally upscale from their normal fare.,...and by the way, they now often have specials that are apart from their broader menu. Just ask if there are any that night. In short, ignore the few critical reviews. Just go and enjoy the experience. You won't be disappointed...even if it is crowded...and it almost always is...with locals...and you know that means it's good.
