“Worth a stop in”

Great little place! Not a huge store, but they have a good selection of wine and very friendly, knowledgable service. They even have a great selection of cheeses, sandwiches with the freshest meats and veggies, and desserts. They also sell wine related gifts and trinkets. Definitely worth a stop in!

“Always Good Advice”
Reviewed 14 January 2013

This is a small shop but offers some nice choices and staff always helpful. They have wine tastings on Friday's and special events. We went to the champagne tasting and found a good moderately priced bottle for New Years Eve. My big city son, who was visiting, observed it is small shop but nice selection and good tasting choices. They also offer a selection of cheese, meats, etc.

Friday night wine tastings are fun. Delicious cheeses, too.

“Stop In”
Reviewed 26 September 2011

Since I am from the area I could be biased but I have lived in many other places and can get into Asheville easily so do have comparisons. This is a great little shop with a good, even though not huge, selection of wines, cheeses and meats. The service is top notch and the advice I have been given is always on the mark and I have never had a bad experience. Nice spot to stop for a glass of wine and cheese if you just want a sampler.

“Wine with Meat”
Reviewed 31 July 2011

I and Eric went to this wine shop for visitation only. But the shop is amazing. It sells wine, beer, cheese, meat. The most surprising is that it has lovely bar for customers to sip wine and beer with a perfect dish- meat. Perfect! The shop has been in business for almost four years. The cheese and some of the beer provided there are home-made. For people who want to taste different categories of wine, it has free tasting on every Friday. As said by the staff, middle and older people are frequent customers of the shop. Of course, everyone under 21 is not allowed to buy beer or wine there. Although I am not a drinker and did have a chance to taste wine, I highly recommend this wine shop as it has a little bar with wines, beers and cheese arranged at the stands respectively. You can relax while enjoying sipping wine or beer.
