“Large menu average food”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Went here for lunch and was intrigued by the large menu. First disappointment was being told they were out of certain items as the truck hadn't arrived for the day. Next were various parts of our order being less than appetizing. I'd be willing to give it another go if I get back that way.

“Quite a nice surprise!”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

We were in Wilksboro visiting the Brushy Mountain Bee Farm and found that there were not alot of nice sit down resaurants in the area. Alot of them had closed when we went to tthe down town area. We just happened by this place and saw lots of cars and decided to give it a try. Nice atmosphere and our waitress, Amanda, was very pleasant and efficient. Food was delivered at the correct temperature and pretty quickly. And the nice thing was, that there was no music blaring away that kept us from enjoying our conversation with each other!

“Nice family restaurant”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

This is a nice family restaurant with no alcohol served. The food was good. Servers were polite and courteous. I had the chicken finger plate with garden salad, hush puppies, and pickled cucumbers for a very reasonable price. The restaurant was clean and inviting.

“Decent Restaurant with varied offerings”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Cagney's claims to be the neighborhood's best kept secret...that I am not so sure of, however I am sure that it is easy and quick. Their menu has many different offerings and it claims to be no more or better than it is. Go here for affordable family dining. Great weekly specials.

“I will return........”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

We have been observing the volume of cars outside this establishment as we drove by. We were pleased to see the place was being frequented. So, we decided to stop by on a Wednesday evening for their Meatloaf special. It came with two sides and a pick of bread which included a choice between rolls, toast, texas toast, hush puppies etc.
I selected the green beans and mac and cheese for my sides. My friend had the green beans and mashed potatoes.
The meatloaf came out HOT and quick!Great flavor. The green beans were canned which was expected. The mac and cheese left a lot to be desired.
BUT we are looking forward to trying other items on their large menu including BREAKFAST!
The establishment was clean, The staff very friendly. My only complaint was that the air was turned up too high. COLD.
