“Friendly staff ~”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 July 2013

When we first walked in the door (tired and hungry) we were greeted by a very friendly man who checked us in quickly and offered to unload our car for us. He directed us to a great restaurant with excellent service. Our room was large, and we slept very well.

Arrived to a clean, comfortable and ameanable place. My husband and I ride motorcycles and asked if we could leave our rig while we rode the coast for a few days. The manager said yes. we stayed the first night to ride fresh in the morning and will return in two days tostay another night. They are accommidating and very warm and happy to see us. The clerk at the desk let me know of the full breakfast included in the rate and also dining in the area. The Sunny side oyster bar that adjoins the parking lot to the south is the BEST!! We had cocktails, oysters, shrimp and crab legs from heaven just by cuting through the fence. What a boost to begin our little sojourn to the coast!

Room Tip: quiet area, nice king rooms.

Stayed here for a show at the SBMEAC. Room was clean, bed comfortable enough, and the price was reasonable. Would stay again, only wish they allowed pets, as most horse ppl coming into town for shows do bring dogs. overall a nice place!

First time ever staying with the Econo Lodge brand. Ms. Vickie made the experience awesome from the phone call to the introduction the next morning. The front desk clerk that checked us in when we arrived Friday was great, it's always a pleasure seeing a happy staff. I was so undecided on staying there but I'm so greatful that I stayed. The rooms were big enough. The only problem I had was the pillow was too soft. This hotel would dominate the hotels there if they had a pool, but other than that I can't wait to come stay again.

Room Tip: Love the fact it was pet free...

They have cleaned this one up tremendously. The rooms are good, clean and have appropriate amenities. Checked several hotels in nearby locations and all were more expensive with horrible customer service. In this case you don't get what you pay for; you get a little bit more.

As a frequent visitor to this property, I am very impressed that all the rooms have recently been renovated with new pillowtop mattresses and the bathroom vanities have all been replaced. The staff at this location are very professtional and attentive to my needs. The breakfast is what you would expect at an upscale property without paying the higher price.

Room Tip: I like the king size beds especially the handicapped rooms.

I was immediately turned off by the smell of fresh cigarette smoke in the lobby. However, the rooms are non-smoking and smelled fine. The rooms are large, but not well insulated. So, be prepared to hear large trucks and a few trains during the night. If you're a light sleeper, don't stay here. The rooms are outdated, but pretty clean. Beds were surprisingly comfortable.
The free breakfast was better than I expected.
